CDC Printers

Shyam Steel

The vibrant and elegant annual report of Shyam Steel was designed by Trisys Communications.

Pre-press The job was submitted to CDC in form of high resolution PDFs which were pre-flighted to eliminate common errors using Enfocus Pitstop Professional. The checked files were submitted to Prinergy Evo workflow and ripped using Adobe Print Engine. The proofs were produced using Epson Stylus Pro 9900.
Press 1,000 copies of the report were printed using a four-colour Mitsubishi Diamond 1000 and a four-colour Heidelberg SM102. The paper used for the job consisted Natural Evolution White for cover and Sinarmas art paper for inner pages. In order to make the report look elegant, it was coated with aqueous coating. “Client was pleased with the coating,” says CDC Printers.
Post-press The report was decorated with silver foiling and textured UV on cover. It was section sewn and perfect bound.  

“Since the two-colour pages were printed with spot colour, there was no chance of colour mismatch. All that operator had to do is to maintain the ink and water balance on the press,” concluded CDC.

Greenply



The 124 page report of Greenply was printed, bound and delivered in 36 hours. “This job had put a lot of pressure on the entire team,” said CDC.

Press 4,500 copies of the report were printed using a four-colour Mitsubishi Diamond 1000 and a four-colour Heidelberg SM102. The paper used for the job consisted of Cyber XL for cover and Sunshine Super Printing (SSP) paper for inner pages. SSP has faster drying which helped CDC to meet the 36 hours timeline. The report was a combination of four-colour and two-colour pages.
Post-press The printed sheets were submitted to the Horizon Crossfolder after which different forms were interleaved which were the perfect bound. “For completion of this job, the presses were running non-stop and the pre-press and the post-press staff had to chip in a lot of extra hours,” added CDC.

Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea

Pre-press The pre-press activities of the job included pre-flighting using Enfocus Pitstop Professional and ripping using Adobe Print Engine. Prinergy Evo workflow was used and the proofs were produced using Epson Stylus Pro 9900.
Press 1,700 copies of the report were printed using a four-colour Mitsubishi Diamond 1000 and a four-colour Heidelberg SM102. The paper used for the job consisted Natural Evolution White. For fast drying of printed pages, an aqueous coating was applied inline on the pages.
Post-press The report was section sewn and then perfectly bound.

Balrampur Chini Mills

Pre-press The pre-press activities of the job included pre-flighting using Enfocus Pitstop Professional and ripping using Adobe Print Engine. Prinergy Evo workflow was used and the proofs were produced using Epson Stylus Pro 9900.
Press 6,000 copies of the report were printed using a four-colour Mitsubishi Diamond 1000 and a four-colour Heidelberg SM102. Cyber XL was used for cover while SSP was used for the inner pages.
Post-press The printed sheets were submitted to the Horizon Crossfolder after which different forms were interleaved which were the perfect bound.
