IPPTA Annual Seminar on Innovation and Best Practices in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing

The “Annual Seminar” will focus basically on new & innovative technologies developed and practiced by paper mills, and benefits accrued, including economic impact. Best practices on National & International platform should also be covered with possibility of their adoption by Indian Paper Mills.

The papers are invited from IPPTA Members/Non-members  on the theme of the Seminar Profile as given above. 

Last date for receipt of the Abstract of the Paper : 21st December, 2012
Last date for receipt of the Full Text of the Paper : 7th January, 2013

The paper should be prepared as per IPPTA Journal format including Title, Name of the Author(s) with full address, Abstract, Introduction, Experiments, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and References/Literature cited (giving the original source name of the Journal, Volume No., Issue No., Page No. and year of the publication etc.) with photographs/figures suitable for reproduction/printing.  The Paper will be scrutinized by the Technical Committee and will be accepted for presentation/publication if found suitable.  CD of the text material should be sent preferable by courier in time, failing which the paper may not be published in IPPTA Journal being brought out on this occasion.

Note: All accepted papers for presentation during the Seminar will be given a Cash Prize of Rs. 2,500/- besides three best paper awards ( I, II & III)  will be given out of the papers presented during the Seminar as per the recommendations of the Jury and No Registration Fee will be charged from the Speaker (One Speaker) presenting  the paper.

Members are requested to please remit their Annual Membership Subscription (as also arrears, if any) by a Demand Draft or at par Cheque in favour of ‘Indian Pulp & Paper Technical Association’payable at Saharanpur without waiting  for reminders. IPPTA Annual Membership Subscription falls due on the first day of each Calendar Year.

Further, please note that dispatches of IPPTA Journals are stopped  to those members who are  not remitting their annual membership subscription  by 30th June of each Calendar.
