According to K Karan Reddy, managing director, Stic-On Papers, the company produces 50 lakh sq/m labelstock per month. “Our capacity is to produce more than 70 lakh sq/m labelstock per month. We manufacture inkjet labelstock in very small quantity; it is less than one per cent of our total production. But according to our study, it will be around four per cent of our total production in the next two to three years,” he added.

Stic-On Papers produces more than 70 types of labelstock, including paper, filmic, tagboards (tear able and non-tearable) and others. It has also been manufacturing thermal transfer bar code ribbons from 2002. Last year, the company established a slitting unit in Noida to serve the north Indian market better.

A regular at Labelexpo, Reddy said the company has been participating in Labelexpo India since its establishment and in Labelexpo Brussels for the last ten years.

“It being the first edition of the exhibition, we received mix response at Bangkok. It is a growing market for everyone. We wanted to meet our existing and new customers and created awareness about our new product,” Reddy added.

Established in 1999, the company works in a 50,000 sq/ft facility in Hyderabad.
