Retail confidence backs In-Store Asia show in March

In India, retail has been less about consumers and radical technology innovation, and more about the bottomline. However, a silent revolution is fructifying. The 12th edition of In-Store Asia (ISA), touted as the largest retail event on the Indian sub-continent will transpire during 14-16 March at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.

In-Store Asia 2019 will feature an Expo plus a convention, which shall discuss topics related to the Indian retail industry as well as the the VM&RD Awards, which recognises talent in retail design and visual merchandising.

Vasant Jante, founder and director, VJ Media Works shared with PrintWeek India that “In-Store Asia Expo, 2019, India’s largest Retail Expo, will see participation from 150+ exhibitors showcasing latest products and innovations in the fields of retail design, in-store display and visual merchandising from more than six countries. When asked what is new at the expo which is frequented by 7500+ visitors every year, who are actual decision makers of their respective brands, Janet said, “This year, the excitement will be even higher with the addition of a specially-curated space, Tech Village, to showcase the latest innovation in retail technologies across the verticals.”

In-Store Asia Convention 2019 will have key sessions, which will be addressed and discussed by senior retail professionals from India and overseas. Jante stated the sessions include, “some of the iconic retail brands across categories like Macy’s Inc, Bestseller, Croma, Moschino, Good Earth, Jockey and many more.”

On 15 March 2019, In-Store Asia will present the 11th edition of VMRD Awards, India’s Award Show for Retail Design and Visual Merchandising. 67 Awards, judged by a specially-curated jury from across the world, is given away from 22 categories along with one to the “Store of the Year”.

In-store Asia is now part of EuroShop Dusseldorf, the world’s 1 retail fair for all investment needs in the retail sector. Over the last eleven editions, In-Store Asia has drawn a tremendous response from key stakeholders in the retail industry. The event now looks forward to its 12th edition in Hall 1, Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East) Mumbai from March 14-16, 2019.
