QIPC expands activities in India with five new orders

QI Press Controls (QIPC), the Dutch specialist in measurement and control systems announced the addition of five new web offset clients to their kitty. This keeps the company on target with their performance from previous year where they installed 25 colour registration systems in the first six months.

Kalptaru Offset, Natraj Print House, Saraswati Press, Hexagon Print and Pack and Sanat Printers are five new Indian partners with whom QIPC will collaborate.

The orders are for different versions of the company’s closed-loop colour register control system mRC-3D.

Talking about the deals, Rakesh Dave, managing director of QIPC-EAE India said, "Every press and printing company is different, of course. These orders also involve three different types of machines. For each specific installation, we will really deliver custom work. These orders show once again that QIPC systems can be integrated in any type of web offset press.”

In Ahmedabad’s Kalptaru Offset and Natraj Print House mRC-3D system for colour register and cut-off control with two cameras have been installed on a TPH Orient press and Pressline press respectively.

Meanwhile the installation at Saraswati Press in Kolkata is said to involve four different projects with two colour register mRC-3D cameras already installed on a Naph Graphics press.

"Our systems are already installed on several Naph presses," said Dave. "That turns out to be a successful combination. Hence this new order,” explained Dave.

The last two installations are at Mumbai-based Hexagon Print and Pack (on their TPH Orient press) and Sonipat-based Sanat Printers (Harris M600 press).

“We believe these companies will print fewer wasted copies, work more efficiently and deliver higher quality prints thanks to QIPC's innovative system,” said Dave.
