PrintPack 2019: Daya had a successful show

Noida-based manufacturer of post-press equipment successfully concluded PrintPack 2019 with the sale of automatic thermal laminating to Jhansi-based Pitambra Books; dry lamination machine and two embossing machines to Delhi-based Printmann Associates; and automatic double-side thermal laminator with PET cutter to Ludhiana-based Gee7 Printek. More orders were booked for speciality machines.

Sanjay Jain of Printmann Associates said, “We have been using Daya products since past 14 years and found quality and performance of the machines to be outstanding for long run. So, we have again invested in Daya machines for our new facility in Kundli, Haryana. We have recently bought two embossing and one dry lamination machine from Daya. The dry lamination machine has been specially purchased for the purpose of laminating PET-printed sheets with special holographic metalised PET films.”

Sonal Sheth of Daya said, “We have generated good number of enquiries from all across India and overseas market, which we will turn into sales within the next one-two months.”

Daya displayed ten machines at the show, including automatic dry lamination, automatic thermal lamination – two different models for digital with PET and for commercial with BOPP sheeting, embossing machine for paper converters, digital paper cutting and automatic paper creasing machine.

The automatic thermal laminating machine, Spark, can handle paper from 120- to 450-gsm, laminate with thermal BOPP films from 10- to 40-microns at speed of 40-m/min with heavy duty hydraulic power pack pressure for stronger bonding. This machine is equipped with latest electromagnetic heating system which is quick and needs less start up time. “We have already sold five machines in the past 12 month,” Sheth said. “Customers trust our machines for their performance and robust construction; superior workmanship and latest technology/ systems adopted to customise machine as per changing customer needs.”
