PrintPack 2017: Zund to showcase digital cutting machine

Venkatesh said Zund products aid a company in giving shape to its print products. “Finishing is the key to earning good margins these days and our high performance digital cutting machines enables PSPs to offer the high quality finished goods and very low investments,” he added.

In India Zund has close to 125 machines installed in various market segments, including printing and packaging, whereas these figures worldwide are over 20,000.

At the show, Zund would like to showcase its latest technologies in digital cutting, thereby making the larger part of Indian entrepreneurs who do not travel abroad often aware of the technologies that are fast changing people’s perceptions.

Established in 2012, with its head office in Bengaluru, Zund India is a 100% subsidiary of Zund Systemtechnik AG, Switzerland. The Bengaluru facility offers, sales, after-sales services, spares/consumable, a state-of-the-art demo centre for all the prospects and customers of Zund in the south Asia region.

Coming to PrintPack India for the second time, Zund has booked a 28 sq/ft booth.

Venkatesh said Zund’s focus is to offer future-proof machines. “The fact that Zund machines are built on a modular platform proves this point. A customer can purchase a basic configuration and later build it/ upgrade it as per the needs of markets,” he said. “Whether it is productivity or versatility, Zund has futuristic solutions.”
