Naveen Gupta is the new general secretary at IPAMA

Naveen Gupta of Prakash Offset Machinery has been appointed as the new general secretary of IPAMA. The post became vacant after Bal Krishan Khindria, who was elected recently, passed away in November.

Gupta, a part of the interim body of IPAMA, said, “It’s a big responsibility. I will put my comprehensive efforts to fulfil my duties towards the association and PrintPack India 2017.”

PrintPack India 2017, the flagship exhibition organised by the association, the largest exhibition of graphic art industry in India will be held from 4 to 8 February 2017 at India Expo Centre at Greater Noida. The exhibition attracts visitors and exhibitors from five segments – printing, packaging, converting, and digital and signage.

Gupta, an engineering bachelor from Pune University, has experiences in CNC machine manufacturing and handles the same segment at Prakash Offset’s sister concern.

Prakash Offset Machinery manufactures sheetfed offset machines, web offset machines, pad printing machines, laser-cutting and laser-marking machines and non-woven bag-making and printing machine. The company manufacturers parts for other industries as well.

The last edition of PrintPack in 2015 had seen more than 400 exhibitors lure more than 85,000 footfalls, 45,000 of which were unique visitors. It also saw more than 100 launches.
