Monotech Systems forays into Bangladesh with Jetsci X1
Chennai-based Monotech Systems made its forays into the Bangladesh market with the installation of a Jetsci X1 high-speed inkjet imprinting solution. The industrial inkjet system for monochrome variable data printing, which can run at the speed of 300m per minute, has been installed at one of the Bangladesh’s biggest security printers, through Printech Corporation, which represents Jetsci range of products in that geography.

Since the customer is a security printer, both Monotech and Printech didn’t want to disclose the details.
Monotech Jetsci X1 can print black, spot colours and security inks. Featuring Fujifilm Dimatix Samba printing heads, the machine can print UV curable and water-based dyes/ pigments, and printing inks’ tanks are available from two litres to 10 litre.
Neeraj Thappa, GM, international sales, Monotech Systems, said, “This is our first industrial high-speed inkjet system installation in Bangladesh. The customer’s print application was very demanding and our team developed a special and personalised solution to achieve the desired requirements. With this installation, the customer can now add more print applications in their workflow to deliver job with VDP especially numbers, codes and others.”
