Andy Voss, managing director of Lintec Europe, said, "The pace of change within the signage and wide format industries continues to accelerate at a consistent rate, with more diverse applications appearing every year. Sustainability and environmentally friendly practices are topics of great interest, a trend that is no doubt being driven by an increased awareness and a desire to 'go green'.”

The Re-Pop film is a non-PVC dry apply the adhesive film of the 50-micron polyester film. Since the liner used for the film is made up of paper, Re-Pop films can be printed using the screen, UV digital and litho print. According to Voss, “The film is durable, offers improved see-through and dimensional stability qualities and is easy to apply, also removing the need for professional installation or removal.”

The facestock is made up of 80% of recycled PET derived from the discarded plastics bottles. The recycling method used reduces the consumption of petroleum resources, as well as resulting in a 24% reduction of carbon dioxide during the manufacturing process. Voss said, “This represents a small yet significant step forward towards the preservation of the environment."

"I am confident visitors will appreciate the ways in which our products can play a significant role in enhancing their service offering within the POS, retail and interior decor markets," concluded Voss.

Fespa is scheduled from 15 to 18 May 2018 at Berlin, Germany.
