Labelexpo 2018: UV Graphic Technologies to unveil a new flexo label press

After manufacturing UV curing systems and allied machinery, UV Graphics Technologies joins the small gang of Indian flexo press manufacturers who are competing with the reputed international manufacturers.

The Noida-based manufacturer will launch its new flexo label press at the show.

Built at the company’s modern factory in Noida, Abhay Datta, CEO of UV Graphics claimed, this machine is the most sophisticated press the country has ever produced with the smallest footprint the industry has ever seen.

Datta added, “Because the fully loaded compact eight-colour press occupies only nine square metres of floor space and is designed for a clean room environment.”

The new label press comprises the full configuration of accessories needed for the widest range label stocks and materials such as chill drums, hot foil, cold foil, hot air, IR and a range UV curing systems including a hybrid UV system capable of UV LED and conventional UV.

The machine is equipped with automation features that include a full auto-register consisting of a pre-register, with less than three meters material waste and near to 100% registration on the job start-up.  

It is also equipped with a corona treater, double-sided web cleaner, and soft tension control for thin and unsupported film printing with twin servo motors for each print station.

Apart from the new narrow web flexo label press, UV Graphic will also display its video plate mounter which is capable of mounting flexo plates in under 30 seconds with micro register and pre-register capabilities, a high-speed turret slitter rewind for labels, LED UV curing systems, a cylinder and tool storage system and a rotary hot foil stamping press with foil saver.
