Labelexpo 2018: S Kumar sells two Zonten eight-colour flexo press at Labelexpo

S Kumar demonstrated Zonten eight-colour flexo machine which includes UV/IR, delam-relam unit, two cold foiling stations, and a sheet conveyor.

At the expo, Zonten and S Kumar launched a high-speed flatbed die-cutting machine which runs at the speed of 30 m/min or 20,000 impressions per hour.

Manish Hansoti, managing director of S Kumar Multi Products, “As digital printing is the next choice for all converter, Zonten also introduced offline finishing machine a ZMQ 320 intermittent/ full rotary die-cutter with rotary flexo print and varnish head with cold foil attachment. It also comes with a sheeter for inmould label cutting and a slitting rewinder. This machine will be used by S Kumar for its label manufacturing division which will complement the Japan-based Screen digital press, a deal which was signed at the Labelexpo.”

ZMQ 320 is available for demonstration at S Kumar plant at Ahmedabad. 

"Labelexpo 2018 was a tremendous success in terms of serious visitors and a lot of new entrants have shown their keen interest. Zonten has also introduced reasonably priced and fully equiped six-colour flexo kit with flat die-cutting machine and slitter rewinder package for the new beginners who want to set up label business," added Hansoti.

Zonten has also launched new fully rotary offset press running at a speed of120 m/min at All Print China exhibition which Hansoti claims will be the game changer in the label industry. 

At Labelexpo 2020, Zonten will showcase fully rotary Smart 420 offset label press. In India, Zonten has installed more than 50 flexo label presses and 100+ flatbed die-cutting machines and slitter rewinders.
