Esko’s stand showcased Automation Engine QuickStart, Studio and Store Visualizer, PDF editor ArtPro+ and Esko’s CDI Crystal XPS 4835 digital flexo imager and exposure system.

On Day Three of the show, Esko announced three machine sales.

New Delhi-based Abdos Lamitubes bought a new CDI Spark 2530 enabled with HD Flexo to support its new flexo printing division. On the same day, Noida-based Uflex invested in India’s second CDI Crystal 5080 XPS and CDI Spark 4260 enabled HD Flexo Pixel+. Moreover, Hyderabad-based Digiflex has invested in its second flexo pre-press line Esko CDI Spark 5080.

Esko’s fourth success at the show came in on Day Four when Bengaluru-based Sai Enterprises bought a CDI Spark 4260 flexo imager to up its capacity.

For Sai Enterprises, this is the third imager. The company already has two CDI 4835 flexo plate imagers installed in 2011 and 2016 respectively. Neelakandan Gopalakrishnan, CEO, Sai Enterprises, said, “With the CDI 4260, we will be able to optimise quality in both narrow as well as wide-web segment, and produce high-quality flexographic plates.”

Gopalakrishnan said after installing its second CDI 4835 flexo plate imager it has experienced a growth of 34%, and with this new installation of CDI Spark 4260 it aims to add to its exponential growth.

For Esko, the Digiflex deal was a culmination of a two-year interaction with the flexo pre-press platemaker. “This partnership means, we are building new relations. In the last two years, we have been trying to understand Digiflex’s business and trying to see where we’d fit into that. This installation will be the culmination of that interaction, and we are glad to be part of Digiflex’s flexo platemaking journey,” said John Winderam, Southern Asia-Pacific general manager for Esko.
