ITC deploys Picador CAD software

ITC Packaging and Printing Division in Chennai has installed multiple licenses of Picador packaging and point-of-sale CAD software at its designing department in a bid to simplify keyline diagram making process.

Rajesh Voruganti, head - production introduction process and pre-press, ITC Limited, said, “We have installed Picador software and are finding it very easy to use. The in-built library and compatibility with generic design software tools have helped us save time while developing new structural designs and adaptation of graphics.”

The software was supplied by Orange O Tec.

Bijoy Roy, marketing director of Orange O Tec, said, “We have joined hands with France-based Treedim as their pan India distributor and support centre. Picador, the CAD software from Treedim, is used worldwide by over 4,500 users including packaging manufacturers, digital printers, industrial users or trademark companies, and designers among others”.
