Ed-bellishment training programme conducted in Kochi

The 10-day programme was tailored specifically for seventh-semester students of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Calicut University and includes industrial visits, technical discussions, hands-on training and ‘meet the masters’ sessions.

Eminent personalities from the cross-section of the society and industry addressed the students including K A Ouseph, member and chairman for various national level exams, Joseph Sajeev, regional sales manager, Xerox India , Binu V Punnen, Kerala Head, TechNova Imaging Systems, Gerard C Chandy, managing director, Jerrys Print Shop, G Venugopal, director, Sterling Print House, Anoop Venugopal, director- technical, Anaswra Offset, Deekshit Nair, assistant manager, TechNova Imaging System, Raju N Kutty, managing director, Purandara Laser Technologies, Kochi and Kulakkada Pradeep, CEO, Future Schoolz.

Hands-on training on 3D designing and mixed reality, water hardness and alkalinity test, spectro-densitometric calculations and monitor calibrations were taught to the participants. ‘Meet the masters’ sessions were said to be highly appreciated by the students.  O Venugopal of Anaswara Offset, KP Uthup, managing director, Colortone, Nazar of Colourking Enterprises, Unnimenon former senior engineer in HMT, KBA and Heidelberg machine manufacturing and servicing, Yeldo K George, proprietor, Geo Print Shop and Manmohan, vice president, KMPA) were the masters with over thirty years of experience who addressed the students.

R Gopakumar, president of Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) inaugurated the programme in presence of O Venugopal, past vice president (south), AIFMP and G Rajesh chairman, educational subcommittee. While the certificates were issued by Biju Jose, secretary, KMPA.
