Jasmine Art Printers, the Navi Mumbai-based printing house, has installed a Canon ImagePress C6000 digital colour press to cater to the variable data printing market.
Besides the C6000, which was commissioned in January 2012, Jasmine Arts has also invested in Canon iPR 1110 and Xerox 4110 monochrome presses.
Pramod Parulkar, director, Jasmine Art Printers, said, “The investment in digital presses enables us to target the print-on-demand especially the book-on-demand clients. We also use the presses for in-house proofing. The market is maturing; and we need to focus on the digital segment.”
“We installed Xerox 4110 in 2011 and later in January 2012 we procured a Canon iPR 4110,” added Parulkar.
The 50,000 sq/ft facility of Jasmine Arts in Navi Mumbai caters to packaging as well as commercial printing with a raft of pre-press, press and post-press machinery.
