Kerala-based Koral Graphics, a digital print-shop in Alpuzha, has installed a Ricoh Pro C751 and a Pro 907ex to cater to the rising digital print market.
The machines were inaugurated by Avijit Mukherjee, chief executive officer of Ricoh India, on 19 July. The 17-years old digital printing firm which started colour printing operations in 2005 specialises in tags, labels, brochures, catalogues, visiting cards, posters and wedding cards. Shajimon C A, owner, Koral Graphics, said, “Better print quality and high speed is what we were looking in a machine to cater to the up surging digital market. Ricoh is very feasible in terms of quality as well as production and has certainly bolstered our digital portfolio.” He added, “We have installed Kerala’s first Pro C751 which is a colour production press while Pro 907ex is a monochrome press.” The Pro C751 delivers an output quality of 1,200 x 4,800 dpi resolution for paper stock of up to 300 GSM and makes it ideal for direct mailers and variable data printing. The Pro 907ex prints 90 pages per minute at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution. Koral Graphics’ facility is spread over an area of 2,500 square feet and employs 15 persons.
