The fourth edition of the PrintWeek India Directory (2013), a guide to printing services and suppliers, is in the process of compilation.
The printers, manufacturers and suppliers can now list their company in the directory, online.
The Directory was first initiated and published in 2010 and since then it has been published every year. The activities of the firms are categorised either under service providers or manufacturers and suppliers, with a number of sub-categories to choose from. According to Sapna Mhapankar, senior officer-sales support at PrintWeek India, the benefits of participation are, "An Indian print firm can boost it's brand awareness and generate new business." She added, "Increased instant accessibility to print buyers, manufacturers, dealers and printers across the country is possible." In retrospect, Mhapankar said, "We have had an excellent response in the previous years. Chennai has always been one of the most active participants with more than 130 entries in the free listing and paid section in the PrintWeek India Directory 2011." PrintWeek India reaches out to 11,000 persons in 350 cities. Mhapankar said, "This ensures visibility and mileage even across tier 2 and tier 3 print sectors in India." One of the key feature of the PWI Directory is its ease of use due to the pocket size (15cm X 10cm).
