The panelists for the webinar include Sanjiv Kalra, business manager of Pidilite Industries; Vipul Arora, manager operations at ITC India;  Selvakumar Kadarkarai, director of Sivakasi-based Lovely Offset and Animesh Kejriwal, director of Parksons Graphics.

During the webinar, the panelists will share their green checklist, highlighting the details of their initiatives on the green front. They will also enlighten their efforts in environmental protection. Plus focus on projects that enable energy efficiency and reduction.

Arora in his presentation on "Sustainability makes Business Sense" will project the key sustainability initiatives that ITC has taken over last few years and the impact they have had on ITC’s operations.

Kadarkarai in his presentation will share details on initiatives taken at Lovely’s Sivakasi plant and will touch upon points such as recycling policy, power generation using non-conventional sources, energy conservation policy among others.

There’s a debate on whether profitability and going green are related, but most of the discussions return without any conclusion because of the poor quality of environmental data. The webinar will look at sustainability and green technologies to build a safe environment on the shopfloor.

PrintWeek India through a live discussion plans to talk about the approaches adopted by both the Pidilite as well as the print and packaging service providers in adopting energy efficient measures and how they evaluate energy intensity.
