Sakurai celebrates fifty years since its first participation at Drupa in 1961. Yoshikuni Sakurai, chairman, is full of anecdotes about Sakurai's days of establishment. "My father used to manufacture air craft spare parts during World War II apart from being a paper merchant. When the war ended we did not know what to do with the factory and started manufacturing printing presses. I christened the press Oliver because in Greece, Oliver and Roland are mythoglogical characters and were rivals."
