Zund Demo Centre in Bengaluru

What was the thought process when behind setting up Zund demo centre?
We wanted our customers to experience Zund Technology closer to them. The idea behind setting up this state of the art demo centre was to showcase the capabilities of Zund to various market segments in our region. 

Customers need to book the demo slot and could bring in their own substrates and see how easy and effective they could use Zund cutters to enhance their way of cutting. We also have showcased various cut models from different industry segments such that the customers could not only see how their substrates are being cut but also can know as to how a Zund could add value to their business by integrating various other cutting requirements into their business.

Apart from this, we also showcase our Zund Design Centre Software for Graphics/packaging markets. 

What are the different models you have at the demo centre?
We have G3 L 2500 with automatic router bit changer along with an overhead camera capture system for quick registration of printed materials and S3 L 1200 with conveyorised bed and extended table for enhanced productivity.

Describe a typical service that you provide?
We provide operator training, sample test cutting, specialised application Support for different/unique substrates.

How many industry members have availed the facility, thus far?
We have had plenty of prospects visit our facility for demos and sample tests. Most of them are now customers of ours. Prospects walk into our facility with very little idea about Zund cutters but walk out very impressed and confident and more often with newer business perspectives, knowing that they could always count on Zund for most of their complex cutting requirements. 

What are the applications and services that the customers seek for?
Customers come here to test the productivity, speeds, and cut special substrates which they are unable to find a workable solution. 

Do you host an annual show or networking event at the centre?
Yes indeed. We did an open house event a couple of years ago and soon would be doing another.

Have you published any handbooks? 
No, we have not published Handbooks, but we do have YouTube tutorials on our machines on the web.
