CP Paul, APL Machinery

You represent a business which is dependent on crude oil volatility and the currency price fluctuation. Will the dynamics be altered in the short-term?
I think necessity is the mother of all inventions. If things will get expensive then there will always be new development and hidden opportunity.

Do you think your company (and the industry) absorb this price increase?
We are happy with this scenario and will help to boost our exports.

Will this 25% industry-wide raw material inflation temper your company’s outlook for this year? What is the percentage you are looking at?
As we are machine manufacturers it will not impact us much.

From an export point of view, a strong dollar will boost turnover. Your comments?
Yes, of course.

When the top-level delegation met the GoI representative, they were asked what is the revenue the print and packaging industry contributes to the Exchequer? Can you hazard a guess?
I think if this government has to win elections next year then they’ve to fulfil there promise of Make in India. And this situation helps the government to give a boost to its pet project.
